A Bundle in a Box sneak peek
Having announced the Bundle in a Box gaming bundle over a month a go, we thought we should really let you know what’s been going on and, of course, share a bit of bundle related information.
As you may have guessed we haven’t been idle. We have, among other things, been working on the design and technology of the bundle site, trying to ensure it will be ready to handle any amount of traffic, while simultaneously supporting the numerous features we want to include. Happily, things are going very well indeed (if a bit slower than initially estimated) and we will soon be able to show you stuff. Exciting stuff!
What’s more, we’ve settled on all the games and extras that will be included in Bundle in a Box. For now, let us only say that the games will indeed be (strongly) thematically linked as promised and that there will actually be seven of them. Yes, seven. One of them will belong to a genre that has never before been included in any sort of gaming (indie or not) bundle and another one will be launched exclusively through the bundle itself, as we do believe in directly supporting and promoting talented indie developers.
Speaking of indie developers, we can also reveal that part of the bundle’s earnings will act as an indie fund of sorts, that will help an indie developer, group or project of your choice; no strings attached. We will also of course be supporting charity. A charity that is indeed very close to our hearts and we feel that really matters.
That’s it for now. Expect more news soon and do follow Bundle in a Box on twitter, facebook and this very blog.
